Let's put feelings into better perspective. Feelings are not facts. Feelings are thoughts mixed with sensations. I am not my feelings. My feelings are something I am experiencing right now.
Go ahead and simply experience whatever feeling you have right now. Experiencing the feeling, rather than avoiding it, stuffing it, getting rid of it or escalating it, can be freeing. Let it be. Don't get involved with it, simply be aware of it. If I am awareness, I remember that awareness does not fight. I can feel the disturbance without feeling disturbed.
Stop telling your mind that its job is to fix your personal problems. Let go instead.
